Session Preparation

We welcome you to our home and hope you will treat it just like yours - with love and respect!!

 

Welcome to Lake Macquarie, home of the largest saltwater lake in the Southern Hemisphere.  Surrounded by lakes and trees and nature's animal kingdom.

THE EQUIPMENT

Please do not touch the EESystem equipment in the room or the air conditioner. The units have been specially calibrated to create a unique environment and any movement of the equipment or excessive vibrations like jumping around will cause a disturbance to the calibration and will result in effecting the outcome.  The room needs to be kept at a constant, comfortable temperature of 24 degrees to avoid overheating the units.  

Blankets are provided for your comfort; however you are most welcome to bring your own.

THE ROOM SETUP

Whole Self Healing Centre is private room with an ensuite attached for toilet facilities however the shower is not available for use.  We have a lounge area outside the room or plenty of balcony space if you require fresh air or time-out.  We ask that when you are visiting, you are mindful of others who are experiencing their session and wanting to gain the most benefit from their time.

Day Sessions: The room has two soft, comfortable and fully reclining leather chairs along with one single bed for Day Sessions.

Capacity: 3 people per 2 hour session

Night Sessions: At night, the single bed can become either a king bed or remain as two single beds.  For your comfort and safety, all occupants are known to each other whether 2 friends, partners or a young family. The price for EVENING session is for the whole room not per person.  

Capacity: We can accommodate 2 Adults (and 2 children if under 10 years old for a young family).  The reclining chairs are not available at night.  Please advise when booking, what bed configuration you require ie 2 x singles or 1 x king bed.  Clean, fresh bedding is supplied including blankets and pillows; however, you are welcome to bring your own.

Useful information to help you get prepared for your session:

PRE SESSION

  • Ensure you get plenty of rest the night before your session.

  • Hydration is key to good health and will also assist with the detoxification process.  If you are thirsty or hungry, this is a sign that you are already dehydrated.  

  • Try to eliminate processed foods from your diet where possible and include plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.  If you consume meat, look for lean white meat such as chicken, lamb or fish.

DURING SESSION

  • Filtered water, herbal teas, ear plugs, and sleep masks are available for your use during the session. Noise cancelling headphones are accepted although if listening to any meditation music etc please be mindful of others in the room. It is recommended that you take the opportunity to rest throughout the session to gain the most benefit.

  • We recommend that devices also be turned to silent, or 'aeroplane mode' and it is strongly suggested to take a break from your usual technology and enjoy the session in the 'healthy' Wifi :)

  • We also have nose strips available for those who suffer from snoring. For your comfort and peace of mind and out of courtesy for others, if you feel you would benefit from a solo session, please contact us to arrange a suitable time.

  • Wear comfortable clothing. Socks are to be worn if removing your shoes whilst on the recliners.

  • Cushions and light blankets are available for your comfort but please feel free to bring your own if that is more suitable for you.

  • Our environment both inside and outside the home, is a smoke free zone which includes e-cigarettes or vaping.  There are plenty of areas within a short walk of the home, or by the lake which is approximately a 3-minute walk. 

  • No recreational drugs to be taken on premises.   If you need to take medication that requires refrigeration during your visit, please advise us on arrival.

  • No alcohol to be consumed inside the room.  For best results from your session, it is recommenced to cease consumption of alcohol at least a day before so you can stay focused and align with your body's response within the system.

  • No food to be consumed inside the room.  However, you may use the lounge area or outside on the balconies.  Snack bars or fruit is suitable.  Ensure you have eaten before you arrive.  It should be kept light so as to aid the body in its detoxification process.

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at your earliest convenience to avoid any fees. We do appreciate that unforeseen circumstances occur and are happy to work through a solution with you.

  • PLEASE USE THE STAIRS WHEN ENTERING OR EXITING THE PROPERTY as driveway is a little steep.

  • Access ramps can be provided for those with wheelchairs and walkers as we have two small steps to the front door.  Please inform us if you require any assistance. Parking in driveway near entry level is available for your use.

POST SESSION

  • Assist your body further with detoxification.  Continue drinking plenty of water to aid the process.  

  • It is strongly suggested to take a bath after your session as the body will release further toxins.  PLEASE SEE DETOX BATH RECIPE in the 'Resources' section on the home page for suggested ingredients. Bath salts are available to purchase on site.
